With so many different types chair about now it is difficult at times to know whether to choose one that comes as a swivel recliner chair or as a massage recliner chair.
Sensibly you need to think of what your requirements might be, if you want to just be able to sit in your chair and relax whilst at the same time putting your feet up on a matching footstool the the swivel recliner chair sounds like a very good idea. You can also, when not using the footstool, revolve through a full 360% should you want to.
Obviously the benefit of a massage recliner chair is that it will do, as that advert say, “whats on the tin” and not only recline but also offer you a lovely soothing massage. you will find that there are available some of the swivel recliner chairs that also have a built in massage unit thus offering you the best of both worlds!
Be careful though if you happen to choose a manual recliner with a catch release it might just be a bit difficult to get out of if you have any problems with your legs. The leg rest will come up quickly and easily once you release the catch and then you can push on the back rest to recline the chair and then switch on the massage unit. When you are ready to get out of the chair you just sit up and the back will come up with you but to get the footrest down you need to have the strength in your legs to push the footrest down and to get it locked in position. If you do not for any reason mange to lock it back it is possible for it to open again quickly as you try to stand up and catch you in the back of the calf muscles which can be both painful and dangerous!
If however you have a swivel recliner chair with massage features built in then all you have to do is to get your feet down from the stool and stand yourself up and realise just appreciate how you enjoyed not only the massage you haveĀ just had but also the warmth of the heat pad that is built in relaxing your back.
Whatever you choose, a swivel recliner chair or a massage recliner chair you will quickly find that you love it!
