Lots of people decide that they would like a quality recliner chair, but do they always work out what is best for them? In the next few paragraphs we will try to guide you through the complexities of choosing what is best suited to you.
For many a standard manual recliner chair with either a catch or handle release is ideal and can be so very comfortable. With a dual motor recliner chair you will have a different hand control set,it will have four buttons rather than the two on a single motor chair. two of the buttons will operate the leg rest to either raise or lower your feet whilst the other buttons will either recline or bring your back upright. The benefit of the dual motor version is that the user can put his or her feet up whilst at the same time being able to have their back in an upright position. An ideal position to enable you to watch television or read a book, do some sowing or plenty of other pastimes.
The single motor chair always reclined the back rest slightly whenever you get your feet into a fully raised position,this means that your eye line is moved and you are going to be in a less comfortable situation to do the various things you had in mind.
If you are in a situation where something like arthritis or a long term illness is affecting you then a much better idea would be to look at purchasing a riser recliner chair. These come in the same configuration as the electric recliners mentioned earlier but have a different motor that can help to stand you up. This done using a quiet and gently action that will by holding the button down take you to a standing position which if your in need of help or nursing aid is so beneficial.
Whilst they can cost more than a standard recliner chair they can normally be purchased by people with long term illnesses or disabilities and mobility problems on a VAT exempt basis. So under the right circumstances a chair which has a price including VAT of £750.00 would come down and cost you just £625.00. It requires you to sign a form either on line or in person to declare that you have reasons with your health to allow you to be exempt from VAT and you can always check whether or not your circumstances fit by asking your supplier or by contacting the VAT division of HMRC.
